After many years as a small business owner, I returned to law to practice in the areas of Estate Planning, Estate and Trust Administration, and Small Business Planning. I have taught in the areas of fiduciary income taxation and legal resources. I am conversant in Italian and French. As a former member of the Zonta Club of Denver, I served on the Board of Directors and chaired various committees.
Contact meI graduated summa cum laude from the College of Mount Saint Vincent in Riverdale, New York where I majored in History and Philosophy. I then received my J.D. from Notre Dame Law School where I studied at both the South Bend, Indiana location and the London, England location. I later obtained an LL.M. in Taxation from the Graduate Tax Program at the Sturm College of Law in Denver, Colorado.
I was awarded the first Primo Award for Attorney of the Year by the Colorado Italian-American Community. I am a member of the Colorado Bar Association, Denver Bar Association, the Rocky Mountain Estate Planning Council, and Le Tip of Arapahoe County.
I enjoy working with individuals and families as they plan the legacy which they wish to create. Each person and family is unique and I strive to reflect that in every client’s estate plan. One of my niche areas is estate planning where a beneficiary has taken a religious vow of poverty.
Doriana put together my trust, will and powers of attorney. My situation is somewhat complex, as I am self employed with many entities and have a high net worth. She was able to clearly put everything together in a cohesive, coherent package and meet all of my requirements for my estate plan. She brought up some points that I never considered, and covered many things that I didnt even think would/cound affect what I was trying to do. She is incredibly knowledgeable, thorough, and personable too! I highly recommend Doriana!
